Refine Reality Ltd. values the privacy of its users. This Privacy Policy explains what data may be collected when you use LIT and our related services, how that data is used, and how you can request access to or deletion of your data.

By using LIT, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

1. Data We Collect and How We Use It

Refine Reality Ltd. does not operate its own proprietary user-tracking or analytics systems inside LIT. However, LIT may process certain data through platform or engine providers used to operate the app.

A. Meta platform data

LIT uses certain Meta platform features that may provide limited user data to the app.

User Profile
If you use LIT through the Meta Horizon / Meta Quest platform, the app may access:
- your Meta Horizon username
- your Meta profile image / profile photo

This data is used only to:
- identify your player account in the app
- display your username and/or profile image inside the app
- support account-related app functionality across sessions

Refine Reality Ltd. does not use this data for advertising or unrelated profiling.

In-App Purchases and Downloadable Content
If you make in-app purchases or obtain downloadable content through the Meta platform, LIT may process purchase-related information such as:
- entitlement or ownership status for purchased content
- purchased item identifiers
- transaction-related platform information needed to verify and restore purchases

This data is used only to:
- unlock purchased content
- verify ownership of add-ons or downloadable content
- restore purchases
- provide support related to purchase issues

Refine Reality Ltd. does not process payment card details directly. Purchases are handled through the Meta platform and its systems.

B. Analytics and usage data

LIT has been developed with Unity Engine, which may include analytics tools and related services provided by Unity Technologies and/or Meta.

Information gathered through such analytics tools may include anonymous or aggregated information about:
- app usage
- session activity
- device type
- general demographic or region-level information
- performance and stability information

This information is used to:
- improve LIT
- improve product performance and stability
- better understand how users interact with the app
- improve the end-user experience

Refine Reality Ltd. does not use this information to determine the real-world identity of a user.

2. Log Data

When you use LIT, certain technical information may be collected automatically by platform, engine, or analytics providers, including, where applicable:
- device type
- device identifiers
- IP address
- operating system and platform information
- crash data
- diagnostic and technical performance information

This information is used for technical operation, troubleshooting, analytics, service improvement, and maintaining app stability and functionality.

3. Service Providers

We may employ third-party companies and individuals to facilitate our Services, provide the Services on our behalf, perform Service-related services, process platform transactions, or assist us in analyzing how our Services are used.

These third parties may have access to certain information only as necessary to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for other purposes, subject to their own legal obligations and privacy policies.

4. Data Storage and Security

Refine Reality Ltd. does not generally store user data on proprietary machines or private company-operated servers for LIT. Data processed through LIT may instead be stored or processed by third-party service providers, including platform and engine providers, in accordance with their own systems and policies.

We take reasonable steps to protect the information processed through our Services, but no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.

5. Children’s Privacy

LIT is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

6. International Transfers

If you are located outside Finland and choose to use LIT or provide information through the Services, please note that information may be transferred to Finland or to service providers located in other countries and processed there.

By using the Services and accepting this Privacy Policy, you consent to that transfer.

7. Data Retention

We retain data only for as long as necessary to:
- operate and improve LIT
- provide purchased content and restore entitlements
- respond to support requests
- comply with legal obligations
- prevent fraud or misuse
- enforce our rights and agreements

If certain data is processed only temporarily through platform systems or during an active session, Refine Reality Ltd. may not retain a separate stored copy of that data.

8. Requests for Access, Rectification, or Deletion

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data that Refine Reality Ltd. may hold about you.
